What RegReport is

A research aid that brings together official records about a vehicle and explains them. It is not a vehicle inspection, a history check (finance, write-off or theft), a valuation or financial advice.

Accuracy

Official data can be incomplete or wrong, and our scores, estimates and AI explanations are opinions based on that data. Each value is labelled with its source. Always inspect the car, check the V5C logbook and service history, and get a professional inspection and a finance check before you buy.

Fair use

Don't use automated tools to look up registrations in bulk, and don't try to work out who owns a vehicle. We limit and may block traffic that looks like this.

Liability

Wording to be finalised before launch. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
